Adoption Trips

Elizabeth, one of the other two time mothers in the group, graciously bought a 1st birthday cake for the girls. So at 7 tonight we met in the elevator lobby of our floor and had a little party.

We talked to B tonight at the appointed time and I have to say we are not impressed with the quality of the telephone transmissions to this territory. Line keeps breaking up and echoing.

We really miss B and wish we could go home tomorrow but we still have 10 more days to go before we get on that plane to TO.

C*****, one of the little girls who traveled to receive baby number two into their family, heard me call C by her nickname and said " no call her C**** call her blue bear ". How could she know B's favourite bear is blue bear? That was one mean coincidence.

Those are the biggest eyes and the longest lashes I have ever seen. I just want to kiss her again and make her smile.

We got her picture book (family photos) and the disposable camera we sent to her back in January. They were returned by the orphanage but not her pink bear. Luckily we brought backups. Unfortunately she has taken no interest in teddy bears. Totally opposite to her brother.
