Officially Ours
The people here all speak Cantonese but will only speak with their close friends and relatives. They insist on speaking to Virginia in Mandarin. Obviously she was having trouble understanding what was said as you can see below.
There has been a minor change in our itinerary. We will visit the orphanage on Thursday and the national park on Wednesday. The reverse of what had been planned.
C is down for a nap now after having her biggest meal with us yet; 4oz of formula. We also were able to coax smiles and laughs out of her for the first time today.

It's official. The little piece of paper Virginia is holding is the official adoption certificate and A photo op with the director of the orphanage.
