Return to Beijing
Having severe internet challenges today. The DNS here in the hotel is flaky and I have resorted to looking up IP using www.network-tools.com and building my own internal list of host names I use frequently.
Talked to B last night and he is doing fine without us. Just asks every once in a while where we are. And was saying hello daddy to the airplanes flying overhead yesterday.
We miss him very much.
Today is a day to shop or maybe go to the Summer Palace.
The area around this hotel is bleak. No where near as nice as where we were 3 years ago. There are no shops to speak of and absolutely no restaurants so we will be stuck paying high hotel prices for meals unless we taxi up to JungWenMei road where we were before.
Tomorrow we fly to Nanning and Monday we are united with little C.
